ViziRecruiter, LLC. is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) for a remote position. The role focuses on improving the quality and completeness of clinical documentation with concurrent interaction among physicians and clinicians.

A nursing background and CDIS experience are essential; Epic and 3M 360 experience are preferred. Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Nursing, 3+ years in acute care nursing (ICU preferred), and proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams.

• Must be able to troubleshoot remote computer connectivity issues.

CDIS facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and other clinicians to ensure that documentation reflects complete a accurate level of service rendered to patients.

Requirements

• Education/Training:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Experience:A minimum of 3 years' acute care nursing experience required. ICU experience preferred. Minimum 2 years' CDIS in acute care hospital. Epic and 3M 360 Experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams. Must be able to troubleshoot remote computer connectivity issues.
• Licensure, Registration or Certification:Registered Nurse required. CDIS certification through ACDIS or AHIMA required.
