Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a CDI Quality Reviewer to perform comprehensive secondary chart reviews and collaborate with coding teams to improve documentation quality and CMS compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor of Nursing, Texas licensure, and at least 3 years of CDI experience; AHIMA trainer experience is a plus. Epic EMR proficiency and strong analytic skills are essential to support provider education and accurate coding.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• License: Texas nursing license (or temporary/compact).
• Experience: 3+ years CDI experience required.
• Tools: experience with Epic EMR, 3M Coding, MS Office.
• AHIMA ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive secondary chart reviews for DRG/code discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Coding and CDI to resolve coding issues.
• Educate CDI team based on review opportunities.
• Work with clinicians to improve documentation and queries.
• Ensure documentation meets CMS/regulatory standards.
• Communicate findings to CDI Manager and team.
