Job summary

Venture BHM in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a Clinical Director to own the primary mental health treatment program and lead the clinical team. You will ensure evidence-based care and drive continuous program improvement while maintaining licensing and accreditation readiness.

The role combines clinical leadership with hands-on case oversight, clinical supervision, and collaboration with psychiatry and nursing. A Georgia license and master's degree are required, with 3+ years of supervisory

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field and an active Georgia license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• 3+ years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience in a primary mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the clinical model and programming.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise therapists and clinical staff.
• Provide clinical supervision and case consultation to licensed clinicians.
• Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Ensure delivery of evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapies).
• Maintain compliance with Georgia licensing and accreditation standards (Joint Commission or CARF).
• Conduct chart audits and lead quality improvement.
• Partner with psychiatry, nursing, and leadership on integrated care.
• Carry a limited caseload and lead crisis response and risk assessment.
