Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Clinical Director for the Steve Wilson Recovery Center in Gresham, Oregon. This 100% in-person leadership role involves mentoring licensed and unlicensed clinicians, advancing quality of care, and partnering with community providers to support individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

The position emphasizes clinical leadership, staff development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team onsite in Gresham.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology or related field.
• Current Oregon licensure: LCSW, LPC, LMFT in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience in mental health.
• Experience with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Experience collaborating with families, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical leader for the program alongside the Administrator.
• Supervise, coach, and develop clinical staff.
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services.
• Monitor documentation, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Lead clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Support recovery-oriented programming and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate with hospitals, referral sources, county partners, and community agencies.
• Conduct chart audits and ensure documentation meets state and county requirements.
• Participate in incident review, risk management, and performance improvement activities.
• Foster an engaged, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture.
