Job summary

Mental Health Association (MHA) in Massachusetts is seeking a Clinical Director to lead the GRIT residential recovery program. You will provide clinical oversight, supervise staff, and shape treatment practices to empower residents on their recovery journey.

Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to trauma-informed care, regulatory compliance, and high-quality clinical documentation. Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with occasional flexibility to support crises and program needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
• License-eligible: LCSW/LICSW/LMHC/LADC1.
• Experience supervising clinical staff in residential/behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership for the GRIT program.
• Supervise clinicians with regular supervision and performance monitoring.
• Ensure timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, and notes.
• Lead training on dual diagnosis, trauma-informed care, and crisis response.
• Conduct chart audits and ensure BSAS and MHA standards compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide clinical support during crises.
• Collaborate with the Program Director on planning and best practices.
• Coordinate care with external providers and licensing bodies.
• Review critical incidents and ensure proper documentation.
