Description
The Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a skilled, dynamic, recovery-oriented administrator to serve as the Clinical Director for the Cape Cod and Islands Community Mental Health Center (Pocasset, MA) and Cape Cod Site Office (Hyannis, MA). This experienced clinical leader will be responsible for overseeing our vibrant community mental health center's continuum of clinical services.
As a member of Cape Cod and Islands (CC&I) Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) senior leadership team, the Clinical Director will work to further the CC&I transdisciplinary vision that promotes and maintains the delivery of high-quality integrated services. The incumbent will carry out duties and fully supporting the mission, vision, and values of the DMH and the population we serve. The successful candidate must be a strong communicator as well as a visionary leader with the ability to plan strategically and have clinical knowledge, staff management and data analysis skills.
Please Note: The work schedule will be (40 hours) 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The days off will be Sunday and Saturday. This position participates in an Administrator On-Call Rotation. The primary location for this position will be in Hyannis, MA, the secondary location for this position will be in Pocasset, MA.

About the Cape Cod and the Islands Community Mental Health Center:
The CC&I CMHC provides comprehensive services to adults and children. Programs include a 16-bed acute in-patient unit, Case Management, and Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS). Qualifications
MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have at least (A) five (5) years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in a particular specialty (i.e. scientific, professional, or technical) and must possess current license and/or registration requirements established for the performance of the position, of which (B) at least one (1) year must have been in a project management, supervisory or managerial capacity or (C) any equivalent combination of the required experience and substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. A certificate in a relevant or related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required (A) experience.
II. A Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required (A) experience.
III. A Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for three (3) years of the (A) required experience.
IV. A Doctorate degree in a related field may be substituted for four (4) years of the (A) required experience.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
