Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia seeks a Clinical Director/ BCBA to lead a single clinic in Alexandria, VA. You will supervise BCBAs and RBTs, oversee treatment plans, and ensure high-quality clinical care while collaborating with operations and families.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, conducting assessments, guiding professional development, and participating in program development and regional initiatives. Travel for oversight and high-risk cases is required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.
• Active BCBA certification required.
• Virginia LBA licensure required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Licensed BCBA.
• Around 5 years of experience in the ABA field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage BCBAs and RBTs to ensure clinical quality.
• Supervise daily implementation of behavior intervention and treatment plans.
• Provide guidance to grow clinical and professional skills of BCBAs.
• Give direct verbal/written feedback to BCBAs and RBTs on clinical implementation.
• Conduct behavior and skill-based assessments and treatment plans for new clients.
• Support BCBAs in extended assessment opportunities (FBA/FA/preference assessments).
• Meet weekly with BCBAs to review client progress.
• Conduct on-site supervision of BCBAs and RBTs at service locations.
• Make monthly check-in calls with families.
• Support ABA Academy of Excellence training and regional data analysis.
• Develop and oversee a clinic-based curriculum as a team.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations team.
• Supervise unrestricted hours for BCBA Apprentices.
• Travel for assessments and oversight of clinical team.

Education

Master's degree

Active BCBA certification

Virginia LBA

3 years as a Licensed BCBA

5 years ABA field experience (preferred)
