Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia is seeking a Clinical Director/BCBA for our Washington, DC location. Lead clinical operations, supervise BCBAs and RBTs, and ensure high-quality ABA therapy across the clinic.

You will oversee treatment plans, mentor clinicians, participate in regional training, and work with families to support client progress. This full-time leadership role emphasizes clinician-driven decisions and sustained program excellence.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.
• Active BCBA certification required.
• Virginia LBA license required.
• 3 years of experience as a BCBA preferred.
• 5 years of ABA field experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background/drug screenings and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage BCBAs and RBTs to ensure clinical quality.
• Supervise daily implementation of behavior intervention and treatment plans.
• Provide guidance to grow clinical and professional skills of BCBAs.
• Give direct feedback to BCBAs and RBTs on clinical work.
• Conduct assessments and create treatment plans for new clients.
• Support extended assessment opportunities (FBA, FA, preference testing).
• Meet weekly with BCBAs to review client progress.
• On-site supervision of BCBAs and RBTs at service locations.
• Make monthly check-in calls with families.
• Contribute to ABA Academy of Excellence training and data analysis.
• Develop and oversee a clinic-based curriculum.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations team.
• Supervise unrestricted hours for BCBA Apprentices.
• Travel for assessments and supervision of clinical team.
