Job summary

USPI Cypress Endoscopy Center is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee the ambulatory surgical center’s clinical departments, with responsibilities including hiring, mentoring, scheduling, and supervision while driving growth and ensuring quality care.

The successful candidate will apply strategic leadership, regulatory knowledge (Joint Commission, CMS), and strong communication to develop programs, manage budgets, and support staff development; ambulatory experience is not required but

Qualifications

• Experience in management and staff supervision.
• Ambulatory experience is not necessary but a plus; preference for surgical experience in pre-op/pacu or perioperative nursing.
• Experience with Joint Commission, CMS standards of care, and performance improvement.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement staff development programs and quality assurance initiatives.
• Monitor budgets for service programs and collaborate with the management team.
• Develop strategies to manage program growth and ensure business sustainability.
• Generate revenues for clinical services and participate in client billings.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meetings; uphold vision and mission of the Center.
