Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health Bend is seeking a compassionate Clinical Director to lead clinical and nursing teams within our residential treatment center. You will provide strategic leadership, ensure clinical excellence, maintain safety and compliance, and foster a collaborative, supportive culture grounded in healing and connection.

You’ll support adolescents and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma and other behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Oregon clinical license (LMFT/LCSW/LPC/PsyD/PhD).
• Prepare to establish CAQH profile and obtain NPI during onboarding.
• Minimum 5 years in social services with high‑risk adolescents.
• Proven leadership in supervising clinical teams.
• Strong knowledge of DSM‑5 and clinical terminology.
• Familiarity with documentation standards and confidentiality laws.
• Proficient with EHR systems and basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across Clinical and Nursing Departments.
• Ensure evidence‑based practices, regulatory compliance, and clinical integrity.
• Oversee admissions, discharges, treatment planning, and reviews.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise staff; promote professional development.
• Maintain a small caseload (2–3 clients) and family‑focused treatment.
• Strengthen documentation, licensing, insurance authorizations, and utilization management.
• Support risk management through investigations and quality improvements.
• Lead clinical and residential training and program‑wide improvements.
• Be a crucial on‑call team member.
