Job summary

Wellbrook Recovery in Chardon, Ohio, is seeking a Clinical Director to lead our addiction treatment and behavioral health program. You will supervise the clinical team and oversee client care.

This leadership role requires strong knowledge of SUD and co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed practices, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.

Work with facility leadership to maintain licensing readiness, drive program development, and promote evidence-based approaches that improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio independent behavioral health license.
• Experience in substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment.
• Previous clinical leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of addiction treatment and trauma-informed care.
• Experience with treatment planning and electronic health records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical services and programming.
• Supervise, mentor, and support therapists and other clinical team members.
• Conduct clinical supervision, case consultations, treatment team meetings, and trainings.
• Promote evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
• Ensure clinical documentation is accurate, timely, complete, and meets standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure staffing coverage and program development.
• Evaluate and improve existing clinical programming based on client needs.
