Job summary

New Day Recovery in Niles, OH seeks a master's‑level behavioral health professional to provide clinical leadership within substance use treatment programs. The role blends staff management with direct clinical involvement to strengthen operations and ensure high‑quality, coordinated client care.

The successful candidate will guide counselors and clinicians, coordinate staffing and treatment planning, supervise documentation, and collaborate across medical and operational teams to enhance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Ohio license (LPC, LPCC, LISW, or equivalent).
• Leadership/management experience in a 24-hour substance use treatment setting.
• Experience serving individuals with SUD and co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation, confidentiality, and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and accountability for counselors, therapists, and clinical staff.
• Coordinate staffing, caseloads, and continuity of care.
• Coach staff on clinical practices, documentation, and professional boundaries.
• Lead clinical staffing meetings and interdisciplinary care coordination.
• Conduct behavioral health and substance use assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
• Support crisis intervention, case management, and referrals.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of clinical documentation.
