Position Overview:

Godwin's Wellness Services is seeking an experienced Maryland Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) to serve as Clinical Director for our behavioral health programs, including the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP).

The Clinical Director provides clinical leadership, supervision, and oversight to Rehabilitation Specialists and other assigned clinical staff. This role ensures services meet agency standards, Medicaid requirements, COMAR regulations, and professional ethical guidelines while promoting quality care and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership

• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to Rehabilitation Specialists.
• Review and oversee assessments, rehabilitation plans, and clinical documentation.
• Support staff with treatment planning, clinical decision-making, and complex cases.
• Ensure services are person-centered, medically necessary, and recovery-oriented.

Quality & Compliance

• Monitor documentation quality and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in chart audits, quality assurance, and performance improvement activities.
• Assist with audits, accreditation reviews, and corrective action planning.
• Collaborate with billing staff to ensure documentation supports compliant claims.

Staff Development

• Mentor and develop clinical staff through supervision, coaching, and training.
• Participate in onboarding and provide clinical input for staff performance evaluations.
• Promote ethical practice and professional accountability.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with executive leadership and the Program Director to support clinical operations and program development.
• Participate in leadership meetings and interdisciplinary case reviews.
• Assist with the development of clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Serve as the agency's clinical resource for complex cases and provide consultation regarding client risk, treatment recommendations, and appropriate levels of care.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to report to work regular work hours Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends for company events.
