Base pay range

$105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

The Clinical Director oversees the clinical operations of ABA therapy services, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with industry guidelines. This leadership role involves managing clinical staff, driving client outcomes, and supporting the organization’s mission to provide effective, evidence-based therapy. The Clinical Director collaborates with administrative and operational teams to align clinical initiatives with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Oversight
    ● Develop, review, and oversee individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
    ● Ensure clinical practices align with BACB guidelines and evidence-based practices.
    ● Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to maintain compliance and quality.
    ● Supervise and provide guidance to BCBAs, BCBA Trainees, RBTs, and other clinical team members.
  2. Staff Management and Development
    ● Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of clinical staff.
    ● Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to BCBAs and other staff members to ensure professional growth and development.
    ● Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  3. Client Care and Outcomes
    ● Monitor client progress and ensure timely adjustments to treatment plans.
    ● Conduct regular case reviews and oversee data collection processes.
    ● Facilitate parent and caregiver training to support client success across settings.
  4. Operational Leadership
    ● Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure appropriate caseload distribution and staff utilization.
    ● Analyze clinical data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.
    ● Support strategic planning for growth, including expansion into new service areas.
    ● Address and resolve client concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  5. Compliance and Reporting
    ● Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and insurance regulations, as well as BACB standards.
    ● Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
    ● Oversee billing and authorization processes to ensure services are properly documented and reimbursed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D).
  • Current certification as a Licensed Behavioral Analyst (LBA).
  • Current 8-Hour Supervisor Training via the BACB.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in ABA, and years in a leadership role a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ABA principles, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data collection platforms.
  • Familiarity with insurance processes, including authorizations and claims.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay:

● Pay: $105,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
● 20% Bonus – Paid Semi-Annually (based on KPI performance)
