These responsibilities include providing excellence and quality in patient care delivery, fiscal responsibility, management and leadership of staff, collaboration with medical staff, as well as maintaining working relationships with other hospital leadership, and positive interaction with families, visitors, and vendors. The Director is accountable for continuous personal growth and development as well as encouraging and providing opportunities for staff to gain expertise. Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor of Nursing degree, or Associates and enrolled in Bachelors program. A minimum of 4 years of work experience as a registered nurse, with progressive leadership experience.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
