Job summary

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and have experience with bariatric patients, outpatient counseling, and leading group nutrition classes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nutrition is required.
• Bariatric surgery experience preferred.
• Experience with individual nutrition counseling in outpatient settings.
• Experience leading group classes independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nutrition care using evidence-based guidelines and the NCP.
• Coordinate nutritional care with other health care providers, Veterans, and families.
• Collaborate with the Food Operations Section to enhance dining experiences and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in performance improvement activities.
