Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Riverwalk Village. The role includes assessing nutritional status and collaborating with the care team to develop individualized plans of care, with travel between Riverwalk Village and Harcourt Terrace required.

You will interview residents and families, review medical histories, and monitor meal plans to ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• Must hold a current certification and/or license in the state(s) in which they are practicing.
• Preferred: Nutrition documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ nutritional status and identify those at risk.
• Interview residents, families and legal representatives to build individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement plans of care.
• Conduct meal observations to ensure appropriate food types, amounts, and frequencies for residents.
