Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy, perform nutrition assessments, and develop individualized dietary plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Must be RDN or RD registered with CDR.
• GS-09: non-credentialed path with temporary appointment if eligible and no RDN/RD credential.
• Transcripts required to verify education and credentials.
• Bachelor's or higher degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutritional assessments for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop dietary plans.
• Educate patients and families about nutrition and disease management.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
