The Clinical Dietitian Specialist provides clinical nutrition services, including assessments, diet formulation, self-management training, and interventions. Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory compliance, and effective resource use. Must dedicate at least 70% of workload to specialty areas such as NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, transplant, oncology, pediatrics, and outpatient services. Implements physician-driven protocols for diet, nutrition support therapies, and related actions. Participates in quality improvement programs, departmental meetings, staff development, and patient rounds. Offers outpatient counseling focusing on disease-specific nutrition management, adhering to documentation and billing standards.
Note: Candidates with less than 3 years of experience, but meeting other criteria, may be considered for entry-level positions.
Monday-Friday, days, with weekends and holidays off
Starting at $65,000+, depending on qualifications
