Job summary

FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team. The role focuses on personalized nutrition care, timely assessments, and individualized interventions for residents in a skilled nursing environment.

Applicants must hold an active Maryland RD license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics. At least 2 years of dietitian experience is preferred, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Registered Dietitian license in Maryland.
• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Dietitian preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility highly desired.
• Knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process; ability to apply all steps with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to provide optimal clinical care.
• Deliver medical nutrition therapy aligned with residents' medical needs.
• Assess nutritional status using validated screening tools.
• Complete timely nutrition and MDS assessments.
• Plan, develop, implement and monitor nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition recommendations for enteral nutrition patients.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition.
