Qualifications

• Directly provides nutrition services according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nutritional care of the resident in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directly provides nutrition services according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Train employees as they see fit to carry out assigned duties.
• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of residents per standards and regulations.
• Work effectively with others to ensure daily quality nutritional services.
• Serve as a resource to the Dining Services Department Head to maintain sanitary dining services.
• Act as liaison between the dining department and clinical staff.
