Description

This is a full-time, day shift position at Riley Hospital for Children in downtown Indianapolis, IN.

The role involves providing optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, using the Nutrition Care Process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. This process includes nutritional assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring/evaluation. The incumbent will also plan, organize, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition education; precept dietetics and health professional students; and independently order diets, supplements, and tube feedings as approved by Medical Staff Office.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or related field required
• All current Registered Dietitians must maintain Indiana certification until the next renewal period
• Effective January 1, 2021, all dietitians must hold an active Indiana license; team members must obtain this license within 6 months of hire
• Team members must obtain Dietitian Registration within 6 months of hire
• Ability to develop medical care plans
