Description:

This position is located downtown Indianapolis at Gateway Plaza. This is a full time, day shift and the opportunity for hybrid work (remote and in office) is available after training.

Candidates must be local to the Indianapolis area to be considered unless planning to relocate.

Join our team of 18 skilled and dedicated Dietitians whose focus is helping patients of all ages be successful with home tube feedings and oral supplements. Our program is unique in Dietetics and you will learn about feeding supplies/equipment, insurance coverage guidelines and marketing. Knowledge of/experience with pediatric and adult tube feedings or oral nutrition supplements and making formula recommendations is preferred - but not required. This position is a full time patient – facing role in downtown Indianapolis, with partial remote opportunities.

Additionally, this role provides optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The Nutrition Care Process includes nutritional assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, and nutrition monitoring and evaluation. This Team Member will also plan, organize, implement and evaluate nutrition education individualized to the patient/client needs; precept dietetics and other health professional students; independently order diets, supplements and tube feedings as approved by Medical Staff Office at each facility.

• Bachelors degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
• Effective July 1, 2019 all newly Registered Dietitians or dietitians newly practicing in Indiana must have an active Indiana license.
• All current Registered Dietitians must maintain Indiana certification until next renewal period.
• Effective January 1, 2021 all dietitians must have an active Indiana license.
• Registration Eligible hires are required to obtain their RD and LD within 6 months of hire date.
• Ability to develop medical care plans.
