Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Specialist in Billings, MT, to deliver MNT in an acute care hospital setting and apply the Nutrition Care Process across diverse patient populations. Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as a Clinical Dietitian (RD/RDN) to patients in acute care and specialized populations
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs in a hospital setting
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and improve patient outcomes
• Utilize clinical nutrition tools and technology (indirect calorimetry, nutrient analysis software, glucometers) to develop personalized care plans
• Support and mentor dietetic interns, new graduate dietitians, and clinical nutrition staff
• Implement evidence-based nutrition practices in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Manage nutrition care across the continuum, including discharge planning and durable medical equipment (DME) ordering
• Independently write and manage nutrition-related orders within scope of practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
