Job summary

This full-time role includes mentoring newly graduated dietitians and interns, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to care updates and policy adherence to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Master's degree completion by 2024 for new grads; education verified.
• ACEND-accredited program completion (DPI/DI/Coordinated).
• State licensure or certification within 6 months if required.
• Ability to apply Nutrition Care Process across populations.
• 2+ years of clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized conditions.
• Uses Nutrition Care Process to guide complex care with autonomy.
• Applies advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Uses nutrition-focused technology to estimate needs and goals.
• Mentors new graduates, interns, and clinical staff.
• Applies research to improve patient outcomes.
• Implements evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Manages nutrition care across the continuum including equipment orders.
• RD order-writing privileges per policy/protocol.
