Job summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is currently seeking a Clinical Dietitian PRN to support our nutrition services. The role involves visiting patients, screening and prioritizing care based on acuity, and developing and implementing individualized nutrition plans.

You will assess nutritional needs, coordinate with the nutrition services management team, and evaluate outcomes to ensure optimal patient care. Experience in healthcare nutrition management and licensure are required; ADA Registration or

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Nutrition or related area is required
• One year of healthcare nutrition management experience required
• Licensed Dietitian is required, ADA Registered Dietitian or Commission Dietetic Registration preferred

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Dietitian works under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Services Manager to ensure that patient’s nutritional needs are met. Visits, screens and prioritizes patient care based on acuity level, affecting the nutritional care of patients. Assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutritional care, and evaluates and reports these results appropriately. Coordinates these activities with the department’s management team, cooperating with other areas of the department. Serves as a role model for the department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Degree in Human Nutrition or related area required
• One year of experience in healthcare nutrition management required
• Licensed Dietician
• ADA Registered Dietitian, or Commission Dietetic Registration
