Job summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a PRN RN for the Cath Lab to provide proficient, patient-centered care across units. The role requires FL RN licensure or a recognized compact license and current BLS/ACLS certifications with 30-day start-date grace periods.

A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is expected. The position involves collaborating with physicians on patient condition changes, monitoring hemodynamics, and executing nursing duties with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 year RN acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient, age-specific direct and indirect patient care in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in accordance with policy and standards
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision

Job Summary And Qualifications

To provide proficient, age specific, direct and indirect patient care in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, Hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of Florida. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 year RN acute care experience
