Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a registered dietitian to plan and deliver patient-centered nutritional care within Sierra Medical Center, a 170-bed acute care hospital in Reno, NV. You will supervise diet clerks and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires NV licensure (or provisional) and CDR registration within 1 year, with opportunities for career growth within UHS and its network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree approved by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and completion of dietetic internship.
• Eligible to take the national RD examination.
• NV licensure or provisional licensure within one year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers nutritional care to patients per physician diagnoses.
• Supervises diet clerks and support staff within Nutritional Services.
• Assists the director and participates as a member of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Exercises independent judgment under supervision.
