Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking a registered dietitian to plan and deliver nutritional care as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will supervise diet clerks and support staff under the Nutritional Services Director's supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and completed dietetic internship.
• NV Dietitian licensure or provisional RD license within 1 year.
• Current CDR registration or eligibility within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nutritional status according to established standards.
• Obtain necessary information from the medical record to determine patient’s nutritional status.
• Develop nutritional care plans based on the cultural orientation of the patient.
• Evaluate the results of nutritional intervention on the patient’s nutritional status to determine the need to revise the nutritional care plan.
