Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System (Indiana) is seeking a registered dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in the Oncology Office. The role designs and coordinates nutrition care plans, assesses patient needs, and educates individuals and families to achieve treatment goals.

Requirements include a CAAD/ADA-accredited bachelor's degree, Indiana registration, and preferred mastery. Daily Pay option is available and comprehensive benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a CAADE-accredited Dietetics program (Coordinated/Didactic/Dietetic Internship).
• Master’s degree strongly preferred; new graduates must complete requirements within 6 months of hire.
• Active Indiana state registration and ADA/CDR certification required; registration within six months for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy in accordance with standards of care.
• Identify patients at risk and assess nutrition needs by age-specific criteria.
• Design, coordinate and implement nutrition care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to achieve goals of medical nutrition therapy.
• Maintain professional development and competency; support patient satisfaction.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Coordinated/Didactic Dietetics Program (CAADE/ADA accredited)

Master’s degree strongly preferred
