Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in compliance with AND SOP and SOPP. Oncology experience preferred; 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri, with every sixth weekend/holiday.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement nutrition care, educate patients and families, and pursue opportunities to advance practice within state regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Human Nutrition or equivalency required.
• 1–2 years clinical experience with patients preferred.
• RD or RDN board eligible within 3 months; LMNT license Nebraska within 3 months; LD in Iowa within 3 months.

• Identifies nutrition diagnosis and PES statements
• Creates nutrition plans and prescriptions with the care team
• Implements and communicates nutrition plans with the team
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts plans as needed
• Incorporates SOP and SOPP into practice
• Uses evidence-based practices as foundation
• Provides patient/family nutrition education before discharge
• Pursues opportunities to advance practice within laws/regulations
• Shares current nutrition information with staff and learners
