Health & Human Services’ Caswell Developmental Center is seeking a Clinical Dietitian (NS) to provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and follow-ups for individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex behavioral challenges. The role requires strong time management and the ability to work independently while managing a caseload.

The Dietitian will collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of nutrition and dietetics.
• Knowledge of diet therapy and disease.
• Ability to assess, design, and implement nutritional care plans.
• Skill in teaching, diet counseling, and patient education.

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality nutritional assessments and follow-ups for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or complex behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, with flexibility and proactivity.
