Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the Pittsburgh healthcare team. You will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life aligned with goals.

Role involves educating staff, adhering to practice standards, and collaborating across departments to enhance dining services and nutrition programs within the facility.

Qualifications

• Passes national exam by CDR or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of CE every five years via portfolio.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care plans, and resident rights.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the care team and educate residents and staff.
• Adhere to standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of quality improvement programs.
