Job summary

Pomeroy Living is seeking a Registered Dietitian to bridge the kitchen and clinic, offering expert nutrition guidance and resident education. You will lead menu discussions with the Chef, complete MDS assessments, and coach dietary staff in a clinical setting.

The role involves collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other professionals across two facilities in Rochester Hills and Sterling Heights, MI, with direct patient interaction and a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and RD credential with Michigan licensure.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience; 1-2 years in supervision.
• Proficiency with electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Complete the dietary portion of MDS, RAP, and Resident Care Planning with accurate progress notes.
• Monitor meal service to ensure nutritious, well-prepared, and palatable meals per menus and physician orders.
• Assess residents' nutritional needs and provide counseling on healthy eating and chronic disease management.
