Job summary

Pomeroy Living is seeking a Registered Dietitian to bridge kitchen and clinic, guiding nutritional care and resident education. You will work with the Chef on menu planning, participate in MDS assessments, and coach dietary staff in a two-facility setting in Michigan.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality meals aligned with physician orders. Strong communication and empathy are essential in a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition with current RD credential and Michigan licensure.
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred; 1–2 years of management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of the dietary portion of MDS, RAP, and Resident Care Planning.
• Monitor meal service to ensure nutritious, well-prepared, and palatable meals per menus and diet orders.
• Assess patients' nutritional needs and lifestyle to develop individualized nutrition plans; provide counseling and education.
