Job summary

St. Leonard is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Clinical Dietitian to join our team in Centerville, Ohio. You will conduct nutritional assessments, develop care plans, monitor residents with nutritional risks, and collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to promote health and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Dietetics, are a Registered Dietitian, and Ohio licensure. Long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited university.
• Registered Dietitian credential.
• Ohio State Licensure required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach with a commitment to quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Monitor residents with weight loss and other high nutritional risks.
• Provide nutritional support for residents with specialized dietary needs.
• Review MDS assessments, weights, and care plans.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and other members of the care team.
• Provide education to dietary and nursing staff.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, menus, and dining services.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.
