Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to formulate, document, and implement nutrition care plans for patients in our clinic setting. You will assess patients, reassess as needed, and provide nutrition education to patients and families.

The role requires CA RD licensure, ADA internship completion, and at least two years of healthcare/clinical experience, with strong English communication skills and the ability to coordinate care across the health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare/clinical setting beyond the ADA internship.
• Licensed Registered Dietitian in California.
• Completed American Dietetic Association internship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to develop therapeutic and normal nutrition care plans.
• Ability to maintain a workload appropriate to the assigned duties.
• Ability to collaborate across the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, document and implement nutrition care plans for patients in the assigned clinic.
• Conduct and document assessments, reassessments and consults.
• Provide nutrition education for patients and families.
• Coordinate resources across the Health System and assist in evaluating services.
