Job summary

University of California, Irvine seeks a registered dietitian to formulate and oversee nutrition care plans for patients in assigned clinics. You will document assessments, provide education to patients and families, and participate in process improvement across the health system.

Requirements include RD eligibility, strong clinical nutrition knowledge, and excellent English communication. Knowledge of therapeutic vs. normal nutrition and collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in nutrition & dietetics required for RD eligibility after Jan 1, 2024.
• Bachelor of Science in nutrition & dietetics with RD eligibility before Jan 1, 2024 is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, document and implement nutrition care plans for clinic patients.
• Document assessments, reassessments and consults; provide nutrition education to patients and families.
