UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a registered dietitian to formulate and implement nutrition care plans for patients in assigned clinics. You will document assessments, provide nutrition education to patients and families, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

The role requires an RD eligibility and CA license, plus 2+ years in healthcare nutrition, internship completion, and strong communication. You will collaborate across the health system to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to clinical nutrition.
• Customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Minimum 2 years’ RD experience in a healthcare/clinical environment.
• MD/BS or MS with RD eligibility and CA licensure.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to develop care plans for patients and families.
• Completion of ADA internship as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Formulate, document and implement nutrition care plans for patients in assigned clinics.
• Conduct assessments, reassessments, consults and provide nutrition education for patients and families.
• Participate in process improvement and special projects.
• Coordinate resources across the Health System and assist in evaluating services to ensure requirements are met.
