Department: WC Clinical Nutrition - Inpatient

Shift: M-F 8-5

We are searching for a Clinical Dietitian II – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will:

1. Provide nutritional assessment of pediatric patients.
2. Develop care plans and manage needs across the patient care continuum.
3. Provide education and special project support to the clinical nutrition staff and department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licenses and certifications such as LD, RD, RD-AP, RDN-AP, CDCES, CCTD, CEDRD, CHES, CNSC, CSO, CSOWM BC, CSPCC, CSR, CSSD, or IBCLC.
• At least 4 years of experience in the nutrition field.
• 2 years pediatric nutrition experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Provide education to staff, patients, and the community.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to incorporate nutrition principles that improve patient outcomes.
• Interpret and utilize research to enhance clinical practice.
• Document nutrition care effectively within medical records.
• Take on additional responsibilities for clinical program oversight to promote departmental initiatives.
