Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Dietitian (Clinical) to provide expert medical nutrition care within Nutrition & Food Service. You will coordinate care with health teams, Veterans, and caregivers, using whole health principles to set goals and improve outcomes.

Strong collaboration with Food Operations aims to enhance dining experiences and ensure patient satisfaction across the facility. Requires active RDN/RD credential and ACEND-aligned training.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required with CDR registration.
• Experience applying the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to patient care.
• Knowledge of ACEND standards and internship/supervised practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nutritional care with health care teams and Veterans.
• Develop patient-centered goals using whole health principles.
• Collaborate with Food Operations to enhance dining experiences and patient satisfaction.
