Job summary

The Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC is seeking a Clinical Dietitian at Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD. The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and manage nutrition for patients with acute or chronic illness.

You will plan and calculate nutrition support for therapeutic diets, educate patients and families, and document progress. This daytime, on-site position is casual/on-call with a 7:30 am–4:00 pm shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree requirement.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Must be a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist within the State of Maryland or be eligible to apply for licensure prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness and intervene in illness.
• Plan and calculate nutrition support for therapeutic diets based on patients' health care needs.
• Instruct patients and their families on nutrition.
• Chart and document patients' progress and perform other professional duties.

Education
