Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a compassionate, multidisciplinary treatment team dedicated to transforming lives. You will champion nutritional healing as part of whole-person care and empower patients to rebuild a healthy relationship with food.

Under supervision of a licensed RDN, you will advance clinical excellence, support patients and families, and contribute to an evidence-based, recovery-oriented program

Qualifications

• ACEND DP DPD program completed.
• Completion of Dietetic Internship.
• CDR licensure and state license where applicable.
• One year of experience preferred in dietary services.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain CPR, AED, First Aid, and ServSafe within 30 days of hire.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nutrition care and develop treatment plans for medical stability and recovery.
• Identify weekly treatment goals and align with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Facilitate dietary groups that promote insight, skill-building and behavior change.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and milieu interventions supporting recovery-oriented behaviors.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists for nutritionally-related medical and psychiatric needs.
• Support family communication and transitions across all care phases (admission to discharge).
• Oversee food service operations, including inventory, procurement, budget, and safety standards.
• Supervise Diet Technicians when applicable and contribute to clinical documentation and program growth.
