Job Details

1. Job Title: Clinical Dietitian
2. Department: Culinary
3. Supervisor: Director of Culinary/Executive Director of SNF
4. Job Objective: Ensure residents' food and nutritional needs are met according to physician orders and dietary guidelines, considering age, sex, and activity levels.
5. FTE: Full-Time, 32 hours per week

Job Standards

1. Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or dietetics.
2. Current registered membership in the American Dietetic Association.
3. Two years of therapeutic dietetic experience in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
4. Knowledge of diet therapy, menu planning, and food service techniques.
5. Effective communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
6. Ability to perform essential functions safely, with or without reasonable accommodations.
