Job Summary

The Clinical Dietitian provides specialized clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, nutrition education, nutrient intake analysis, and patient screening to deliver quality nutrition care to patients and families. Completes established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period and may perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Baccalaureate degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
  • Preferred Education: N/A
  • Minimum Experience: None required
  • Preferred Experience: 1–2 years in a clinical setting
  • Required Certifications/Licensure: Registration or registration‑eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics; must pass the registration examination within 6 months of hire; possession of current Texas State Licensure or provisional licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Dietitians. If newly registered, obtain Texas State Licensure within 90 days.
