As of January 1 2025 The New Salary Range will be $50879.00 to $76318.00
This position coordinates nutritional care of residents of the facility who are at increased nutritional risk and requires the development, implementation and review of individual resident’s Nutritional Plan of Care to assure attainment and maintenance of optimal nutritional status. Position works to honor resident food choices when possible. In addition, this position has the responsibility to document the nutritional status and intervention in resident charts and ensure that the appropriate diet is being received by the resident. This position provides nutrition therapy to the unit residents. In addition, this position provides nutritional/diet in-service training to staff and consultation to residents and their families.
About Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center: Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC), located in Wilson, NC, is a state-operated certified Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). With a staff of about 520, LNMTC provides support to approximately 200 residents with complex medical needs and/or co-existing neuro-cognitive disorders.

Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in foods and nutrition or a related area from an appropriately accredited institution that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and current registration, in good standing, administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); or Bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, dietetics, or related area from an appropriately accredited institution that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and current registration, in good standing, administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and two years of experience in a clinical dietary setting.
