Job summary

New York Center For Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutritional care in a long-term care setting in Astoria, NY. This full-time, in-person position offers collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and opportunities to advance clinical leadership while delivering high-quality care to residents.

Starting pay is $40.00 per hour, with potential for growth based on experience. We value strong communication and teamwork, and training on Sigma EMHR is available.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian with active credential
• 1+ years of experience in long-term care or clinical nutrition preferred
• New grads are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with Sigma EMHR is a plus (training available)

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure accurate MDS completion and nutrition documentation.
• Participate in care plan meetings and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct meal rounds, evaluating food quality, appearance, and temperature.

About the Role

We're seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian who's passionate about providing quality nutritional care to residents in a long-term care setting.
