• Organize work and priorities to meet patient nutrition and customer service needs.

Nutritional care in the ambulatory setting is individualized and based on the nutritional requirements of the patient and/or specific to the clinic in which they work. Outpatient Staff Dietitians are responsible for providing nutritional care to patients that may include nutrition assessment and care plan development and ongoing nutrition counseling and diet education according to department and medical center policies and procedures. Outpatient Staff Dietitians organize their work and set priorities to plan programs to meet the nutrition and customer service needs of the patient population they serve. They work collaboratively with clinic staff to identify nutrition priorities, develop outreach activities and complete nutrition program planning within the clinics they serve.**Minimum Education Required** Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience**Required Qualifications** Registered and licensed (state of Ohio) dietitian.
