Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe Certification required by first day in states other than Utah/Idaho.
• Experience with modified diets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes patient meal selections and modifies them to meet provider orders using system standards.
• Checks trays for accuracy during meal assembly.
• Communicates clearly to clinical and culinary staff.
• Inputs nutrition screening information and may complete calorie counts and nutrition analyses.
• Operates computer to run reports and take orders.
• Delivers and presents trays to patients following standard procedures.
• Performs food preparation per system standards (salads, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit) and maintains stock levels.
• Handles credit transactions accurately and resolves basic customer service issues.
