Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley is seeking a Dietetic Assistant to provide clinical dietetic services and support Nutrition Services in patient care. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on accurate meal delivery, diet order verification, and collaborative care with the dietitian team.

You will assist with menu management, food preparation under supervision, sanitation, and record-keeping, contributing to high-quality patient nutrition within a faith-based nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED required.
• Associate/Technical degree or related experience preferred.
• Technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects patient menus in a timely manner.
• Assists with menu selection and evaluates food quality and temperature.
• Maintains sanitation guidelines and proper food handling.
• Prepares meals under supervision and assists with reports and inventory.
• Monitors diet orders and nourishments for patient needs.
